The y1 children found this resource confusing. It would be easier if each pictorail card was split into 2 . with pictures on the left side and a number on the right side

Thanks for your lovely request, this resource is intended for pupils to practise array subtraction and therefore the numbers are not currently on this resource as this could take away from the challenge intended. However I can see that this could also be used with differentiation in place so I have asked that a version is created where the numbers can be added as necessary :) I hope this helps but do let us know if it's not what you had in mind.
