How does this resource excite and engage children's learning?

A great resource pack to remind pupils of the meaning of preposition and subordinating conjunction, with a focus on the words that can be used as both (After, Before, Until, Since, As).

Used for Y6 Spag lesson. A brilliant resource - the children loved the puzzle and crossword. I have always found this a really difficult area to teach but this made it so much easier. Many thanks!

Lovely resource but technically wrong on the puzzle game by classifying outcomes as a 'phrase' - if the puzzle word becomes a conjunction, it is because the group of words after it becomes a clause. Hope this makes sense and sure your wizards can correct this

The crossword clues are the wrong way round! The 'down' clues contain prepositions and the 'across' clues contain subordinating conjunctions.
