Foundation - Year 2 Classroom Classroom Display Ideas - Page 7

Why are classroom backdrops beneficial for children’s learning?

From Foundation to Year 2, children are just at the beginning of their school journey and indeed their lives. Subjects and lessons need to be as engaging as possible and full of interactive content, structure, and variation. From banners and bunting to posters and labels, we’ve got an excellent range of materials to brighten up your classroom backdrop. Children can get excited about the day’s activities as soon as they walk in the door!

When showing fun facts and key information, classroom backdrops also offer a fantastic route to visual learning. Always on the wall to be seen, children can memorise key spellings, famous phrases, or Maths problems. This could then positively influence their day-to-day learning.

Our classroom décor themes also offer F-2 students the chance to get creative and practice teamwork. Either print some of these resources in black and white for colouring or ask children to design a poster about themselves or the class. They’ll love seeing their work on show and could take it home to show parents when you design another classroom backdrop.

Classroom backdrops are also fantastic for a variety of reasons. When a special event is happening, such as Halloween, Christmas, or the New Year, you can transport your students to a new world with a classroom backdrop. They are also fantastic for prompting ideas and class discussions. Just a few images on the walls can trigger children's imaginations and yours too!

So, what are you waiting for? Transform your classroom atmosphere today and reach new heights in your lessons!
